About
Women in Technology (WIT) was founded as a student organization in 1998 at Purdue University in the School of Technology. Women in Technology's purpose is to develop leaders and personal as well as professional relationships through activities in the following categories:
Networking
- Bringing in speakers
- Organizing events
- Conferences
- Internships/Co-ops
Mentoring
- Supporting first and second year School of Technology women students
- Supporting middle and high school women students
- Living/Learning Communities
Outreach
- Recruiting middle and high school women students
