To promote the recognition, evaluation, and control of stresses arising in or from the workplace or its products, in relation to the health or well-being of workers and the public.

To elevate individual knowledge in workplace health and safety by providing education on identification and control of workplace exposure to disease-causing agents like chemicals, biological agents, noise and radiation.

Promote WHWB projects through interaction with other interested parties globally.

To promote the study of Occupational, Environmental Health & Safety.

To increase each member’s leadership skills by actively participating in leadership activities.

To interact with professionals in the government, industrial, educational, and other professional bodies in the US and internationally.
