Veterinary Laboratory Animal Club

About

The mission of the Veterinary Lab Animal Club at Purdue University (aka, Purdue Student ASLAP Chapter) is to provide learning opportunities, experiences, and resources on the field of laboratory animal medicine beyond the classroom. Through club activities, participating members are expected to gain at least the following:

  • An understanding of the scientific goals, clinical responsibilities, and role of the laboratory animal veterinarian in advancing healthcare for animals and humans
  • An appreciation of the medical care and welfare of animals used in research
  • The fundamental laboratory and clinical skills used in the field

Why join VLAC
