Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam is an organization that strives for the appreciation of South Indian Cinema and its role in the global cinema stage. While Bollywood is widely known around the world, its regional counterparts such as Kollywood, Tollywood etc., are not as well known or appreciated even though they produce films that are of world cinema quality. This organization hopes to form a larger community of film enthusiasts and to bring to light the great films of the South Indian Cinema Industries and their influence on other Indian Regional cinema as well as World Cinema.
