The Purdue Timmy Global Health 12th Annual Banquet & Silent Auction: Small Things with Great Love is the chapter's largest fundraising and advocacy event of the year. The event focuses on celebrating Ecuadorian culture and food through a healthcare framework. Dr. Chuck Dietzen, a Purdue Alumnus and Timmy Global Health's founder, was inspired to expand access to healthcare for those in Ecuador by modeling Mother Teresa's selfless work in India. Dr. Chuck chose to work in Ecuador because of one of his patient's family ties to Ecuador. He promised his patient that he would look after the children of Ecuador in her honor.

Purdue Timmy sends 18 motivated students to Quito, Ecuador every spring break to care for Dr. Chuck's patients in the rural communities of Quito. This event celebrates Ecuadorian culture by sharing students' experiences in Ecuador, selling Ecuadorian goods, serving Ecuadorian food, and hearing Dr. Chuck's inspirational stories of Ecuador. Furthermore, this even supports the people of Ecuador as 100% of profits go toward helping those in need and continuing Dr. Chuck's mission of providing quality access to healthcare.
