Sigma Nu Fraternity
About
"To bind together all members by ties of true and lasting friendships."
The Beta Zeta Chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity was founded as one of the first fraternities at Purdue in 1891 and has been a pillar of the Greek system ever since. Academics, family, brotherhood, athletics, social, and community involvement have been the foundation of the fraternity for over 116 years. At Sigma Nu everyone plays an important role in the upholding, the principles, and ideals of our brotherhood. Along with a GPA that rivals the all men's average, the house consistently finishes in the top five of intramural athletics. Whether it is being involved in Purdue Student Government, Interfraternity Council, Varsity Athletics, or other Purdue Student Organizations, members of Sigma Nu are active in making Purdue the best it can be. As witnessed by the peak social event Voodoo, Sigma Nu maintains strong Greek ties by hosting a wide variety of social events, including those with sororities as well as other fraternities. Brothers strive to improve the community by participating in various service opportunities through organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Boiler Volunteer Network.
Love, Truth, and Honor,
