PRSSA is a professional organization that aims to cultivate fellowship, opportunity, and experience between students and public relations practitioners. It provides a foundation to be successful in the working world with many applied opportunities and events. This organization allows members to obtain invaluable experience as well as a variety of networking opportunities. Com Day, writing for the Brian Lamb School of Communication alumni newsletter, agency tours in Chicago and Indianapolis, networking events with professionals, and connections with the Public Relations Society of America, and the PRSSA national job bank are all benefits of joining this organization, as well as social functions and outings to unite our members and build a sense of community among Communication students.
