About
Purdue Pilots, Inc. (PPI) is a member owned and operated flying club, a recognized Purdue University student organization, and an Indiana non-profit corporation. Our purpose is to provide safe and economical flying opportunities for the Purdue community. PPI membership is open to students, staff, and faculty of Purdue University at the West Lafayette campus and to their spouses.
Purdue Pilots, Inc. was formed in 1956 when two campus flying clubs merged. Since then, thousands of people have joined PPI.
PPI owns two aircraft, both Piper Warrior II's, N3033T & N4347G. Both our Warrior's are suitable for training towards your private pilot certificate, instrument rating, etc. Inside you will find highly capable GPS equipped flight decks that make for safe and comfortable local and cross country flying. Club operations are based at Purdue University Airport in West Lafayette, Indiana (KLAF).
