About
Game Developers United is an organization dedicated to providing professional development to students looking to pursue a career in AAA games studios.
We host professional development events such as presentations from industry professionals, portfolio and resumé workshops, and interview training sessions. These are structured to give our club members knowledge on how to succeed in the games industry, as well as an extensive network to increase their chances of getting hired.
We also hold weekly game development sessions focused on helping students form teams to work on game projects. By helping students with complementary skills and similar interests find each other, we hope to foster a more connected game development community at Purdue, as well as strengthen our members' skills on an individual level.
The G.D.U. is dedicated and excited to enable Purdue students pursuing jobs in a highly competitive industry to achieve careers they are passionate about!
