Chinese Culture Appreciation Club

The CCAC of Purdue is created to offer opportunities to all students, staff and faculty members in Purdue, to have access to and learn about different aspects of Chinese culture, so as to know more about China and Chinese-speaking communities, and to have a better understanding of traditional and modern Chinese culture. To further knowledge and comprehension of both Chinese language and culture, students in the Chinese language program that also participate in the club will be encouraged to compete in the Midwest Regional Chinese Speech Contest in the spring. An additional focus will be on growing the Chinese department as well as volunteering, by tutoring in related subjects or aiding international students with English.
