Event Time and Date
On April 22, Justin Brown will be visiting Purdue in order to give a self-defense seminar. An experienced practitioner in martial arts and Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (our art), Justin visits Japan every year in order to practice with our Soke, or Grandmaster, Masaaki Hatsumi. He has agreed to lead a self defense seminar for THIS SEMESTER ONLY!
This event is FREE and OPEN TO EVERYONE (undergraduates, graduates, faculty, etc.) interested in learning combat-based self-defense techniques. We will start promptly at 1:00PM and be meeting at France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center, or CoRec, Multipurpose Room 3 in the basement on Purdue's campus. Please wear comfortable, loose clothing that you won't be afraid to damage. We will provide the equipment needed.
The event will end at 5:00 PM and you will be given the option of whether or not to come with us to dinner. During this time, you can speak one-on-one with club members, other practitioners, and Karl Koch himself. If you choose to come, please bring money to pay for food (about $20 should be okay).
We look forward to seeing you there.
