About
Boiler Talks Toastmasters Club is a chapter of Toastmasters International and the club aim is to provide a nurturing environment during club meetings where members feel empowered to socialize, communicate and lead not only within the club but also outside the club environment. There are four core values of club: Integrity, Respect, Service and Excellence.
Each toastmaster meeting includes 3 sessions:
1- Prepared speeches
2- Table topics session
3- Evaluation session
Also, there are roles to be filled prior to the meetings and these roles are designed to make the meeting efficient and benefit each participant.
The whole point of the club is to improve public speaking skills of the members by giving them the opportunity to practice and get feedback. This helps the members to gain more confidence in delivering effective speeches.
