Purdue Automotive Performance Association
About
As Purdue's official car club since 1999, the Automotive Performance Association is the premiere club for all students with automotive interests. We welcome enthusiasts of all makes and motorsports. We host weekly club meetings and occasional off-campus events for club members covering an assortment of automotive topics and activities.
We use Discord to schedule and plan all club events.
Examples of prior club events include:
- Trips to the local drag strip
- Autocross with Indiana SCCA
- Engine tear downs
- Movie nights
- Dyno days
- Go-karting
- Tours of shops and factories including Subaru, Lingenfelter, and Dallara
- Spring and Summer break trips (Texas2K, Tail of the Dragon)
The goal of the club is to foster a community for automotive enthusiasts at Purdue University.
Owning a vehicle is not a requirement to be involved in club activities, only a passion for cars.
