Sports Analytics at Purdue
About
The purpose of this club shall be to analyze sports through the application of mathematical and statistical methods and business strategies. The club shall educate each other and the general public about analytics in sports, ask and answer important sports-related questions, publish articles of analysis online, and generally unite persons with a profound interest in studying athletics. An additional goal of the club is to provide consulting for local high school, college, or professional sports organizations and to publish research papers. In addition, SAP will give professional experience to it is members in leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
